Camino Day 14: Burgos

Day 14: 8.6 kilometres - 12,704 steps
Sylvie arrived last night. I’m so excited to see her - if not for Sylvie I would not be on this adventure. Sylvie is hyper excited - her enthusiasm is contagious, she points excitedly to the scallop shells which mark The Way, new to her but now ubiquitous to us. It’s only been 2 weeks but Donna and I feel like experienced pilgrims already.
This morning we visit the Cathedral. While purchasing our tickets we bump into Jean Claude, who we haven’t seen since Pamplona. Jean Claude has sustained a leg injury (he has already walked over 1000kms) but he is determined to continue on tomorrow, so we may see him again on the road.
