Learn to prepare and cook a traditional Greek breakfast by the seaside

 
In Greece they say your breakfast should be like a king’s, your lunch like a duke’s, and your dinner like a peasant’s.
 
 

In this unique hands-on cooking class in the Athen’s seaside district of Glyfada, not only will you learn what an authentic Greek breakfast fit for a king is, but your host Dionysia will teach you how to make it entirely from scratch. Some of the recipes are treasured family ones passed down through generations and will be emailed to you after the class. 

Breakfast in Greece has a unique history. Traditionally in the villages throughout the country, they were the most hearty, nutritious and also the most filling meal of the day, designed to see one through their daily work in the fields.

Dionysia will oversee you “create” a number of phyllo savory pies, sweets, fresh bread, Greek coffee, and more. Once you’ve prepared and cooked, you will enjoy the fruits of your labors over a full breakfast spread, while learning more about Greek cooking and cuisine.
